Bethesda Softworks has pulled back the curtains on the voice over cast of Shinji Mikami’s new survival-horror title The Evil Within.

The cast features a robust selection of acclaimed actors and actresses, most notably among them being former Academy Award winner Jackie Earle Haley, whom intrepid Watchmen movie fans will remember for his portal as Rorschach. Haley, who is also well known for his horror movie portrayal of Freddy Krueger in the A Nightmare on Elm Street reboot, will be right at home in his role as the games main antagonist, Ruvik.

Other notable members on the cast include Jennifer Carpenter, who is best known as Debra Morgan in the Showtime series Dexter and Anson Mount who plays Cullen Bohannon in AMC's western series, Hell on Wheels. Carpenter will tackle the role of Juli Kidman, the sidekick of sorts to Mount's performance as the lead protagonist, Sebastian Castellanos.

The announcement is also somewhat interesting because it comes on the heels of the announcement of The Evil Within's season pass, which features DLC focused around Jennifer Carpenter's character, Juli Kidman. The Evil Within is scheduled to release later this year on October 14th.
