[UPDATE] Bethesda Has an Unannounced Game Coming This Year
In addition to big releases like Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, The Evil Within 2, and Quake Champions, Bethesda has one more, unannounced, game coming this year.
SECOND UPDATE: Pete Hines revealed on Twitter that his tweet below — which was a response to him revealing recently in an interview that Bethesda has an unannounced game releasing this year — was a joke, and that he was positive of what he was saying in said interview. Thus, Bethesda indeed does have an unannounced game that will arrive sometime later this year.
UPDATE: Pete Hines offered up the following tweet in response to this story, suggesting that there is no unannounced gaming coming this year.
I probably just had a concussion from the beating I took online and was rambling. Ignore.

Original Story: Bethesda already has a very robust and healthy line up of the games coming the remainder of this year with Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, The Evil Within 2, and Quake Champions — but apparently is has another, one that it has yet to even be announced.
That’s right, the developer/publisher has even more, at least according to Tek Syndicate‘s (per VG24/7) recent interview with Bethesda’s Vice President of PR and Marketing, Pete Hines, where the exec explains it’s going to be quite a busy few months for the company.
“…We’ve got Skyrim Switch, we’ve got Wolfenstein 2 and The Evil Within 2, and Quake Champions free-to-play, and Elder Scrolls Legends free-to-play, and Elder Scrolls Online and Dishonored Death of the Outsider—we have a ton of stuff going on,” Hines explains. “We even have a game coming out this year that we haven’t even told anyone about yet. They can wait, it won’t be so long.”
When pressed by Tek Syndicate on whether this new mysterious project is the long-rumored new IP from Bethesda’s internal studio, Hines remained tight-lipped. However, it seems likely this wouldn’t be the case. Whatever this project is, it is likely something smaller, after all it hasn’t even been announced yet, and we only have four months to go.
Bethesda notably announced and launched Fallout 4 in a quick window, but not this quick. Besides, the company already has multiple big titles shipping this year, and therefore it would seem borderline crazy to saturate that line-up with another notable release.
For now, we will have to wait and see.
