Beware Crysis 2 Cheaters

Crytek has issued a public statement via their blog about Crysis 2 and “exploiting individuals”. They are not going to go easy on any cheaters that are found within Crysis 2‘s multiplayer. Strangely, they don’t go into detail on what type of exploiting or cheating is actually going on. They just shook their fists and gave a stern warning to all Crysis 2 players on all consoles. From a personal perspective…I’ve logged quite a bit of time into Crysis 2‘s multiplayer, on the PS3, and have yet to see anyone “cheating” or “taking advantage of exploits”. Any 360 or PC online gamers experience anything different? Regardless, Crytek statement reads as follows.

“We do take cheating very seriously here at Crytek. We are currently taking steps to permanently remove exploits from Crysis 2 and to penalize those individuals that choose to utilize them.  We thank you for your patience and want to ensure you that we will continue to work hard to keep the integrity of Crysis 2 intact and cheat-free.”

Pretty much your above average gamer who plays games profusely and appreciates them even more. Been gaming since the NES but is in love with anything PlayStation. No I am not a typical fanboy...I appreciate each system for their strengths and recognize their weaknesses. I just love the PS brand. (Think along the lines as someone who likes to read but loves one author in particular). Ever since my time as #2 in the world at Resistance 2, I have taken video games much more seriously. Don't get me wrong, I am a laid back, fun guy to game with...but I always play to win.
