Unreal Square-Enix Project Has Some Artwork, Needs Help

on December 1, 2011 6:30 PM

You may remember that Square-Enix has signed an agreement for the use of the Unreal 3 engine. Well, details regarding the project are slowly leaking, today’s sneak peak coming in the form of some official artwork and a call for programmers, designers and modelers.

As you can see, the only information available based on the art is that the story may feature a red-clad swordsman (or woman) and his or he snowy owl companion. Knowing what we do about the Unreal Engine, this title will obviously emphasize action, but what else do you think we can expect?

Thankfully it’s original IP as far as Square-Enix has told us, so don’t worry about getting an HD remake of Dirge of Cerberus¬†or anything. There’s also a recruitment page open, so if you know Japanese and you want to work on the project, have at it.

What do you think this mystery project might entail?
