Quantic Dream's upcoming PS3-exclusive, Beyond: Two Souls, looks ready to "wow" visually and (hopefully) narratively like its predecessor, Heavy Rain, did for the PS3, and luckily PS3 owners will get an incoming demo to try out the game right before its release this coming October.

Sony has announced via the PlayStation Blog that a demo will be released for Beyond: Two Souls on Tuesday, October 1st on the PlayStation Store, although the blog post does mention "there will be opportunities for a few of you to get in on September 24th - we'll be announcing those soon."

As a narrative experience of a young woman who can access supernatural abilities and communicate with a mysterious ghostly spirit, the demo for Beyond: Two Souls will feature two scenes from the game (titled "Jodie and Aiden" and "Hunted") that provide both the intense drama that Quantic Dream is known for, but also it looks like a little bit of some hard-boiled action to get you ready for the game's release.

Beyond: Two Souls releases exclusively for PS3 on October 8th, 2013.
