Beyond: Two Souls to be Screened at the TriBeca Film Festival

David Cage’s upcoming interactive drama, Beyond: Two Souls, will be screened at the TriBeca Film Festival this Saturday. Described by Geoff Gilmore as, “a watershed moment in storytelling and media,”┬áit will be the second video game to be screened at the festival, the first being L.A. Noire which was shown in 2011, highlighted for its ground-breaking facial recognition and performance capture software.

There will be a two-hour screening, followed by the debut of another trailer, and a 35-minute scene from the game. Sony and Quantic Dream have promised to omit all major spoilers from the footage being shown. The screening will close with a live Q&A with David Cage (Director), Ellen Page (Jodie Holmes), Kadeem Hardison (Cole Freeman), and Eric Winter (Undisclosed). The stream will also be available for viewing on the PlayStation Blog via streaming.

Beyond: Two Souls is being developed by Quantic Dream and will be published by Sony for the PlayStation 3 on October 8th, 2013.
