Gaming has been successful in teaching us everything from life lessons to math, now get ready for an education in the Bible. Phoenix Interactive Studios has turned to Kickstarter for its single-player role-playing game entitled, Bible Chronicles: The Call of Abraham.

The Call of Abraham is heavily based on various Biblical stories, created with the help of a Christian advisory team consisting of pastors and other ministry leaders. You’ll play as a fictional member of Abraham’s posse, learning about stories (both positive and negative) from the Bible while searching for alternatives to avoid violence (unlike Cain).

The campaign is asking for $100,000 by February 6th and if it’s successful it is scheduled to be available for pre-order on August 1st, 2014 for PC.

Former genius and a woman of mystery and power, whose power is exceeded only by her mystery, Dana Abercrombie has been playing video games since birth (yes birth...we did say "genius"). Despite her secret desire of wanting to give it all up to become a gorgeous billionaire, Dana is most passionate about video games and films often times getting in many heated debates resulting in being thrown out of many gatherings. Despite having a degree in English AND Journalism (multi-tasking FTW!) from the University at Albany-SUNY, she is currently interested in perusing a degree at Yale Law School, because one should never give up on a dream of becoming a gorgeous billionaire...and knowing how to sue someone as a result of those heated debates
