Nintendo has announced Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain for the Nintendo Switch. This new entry features two to four-player competitive modes and will be releasing on December 3rd.

The new trailer reveals a selection of memory tests and guess the animal games. Players can select their own difficulties to ensure a level playing field between kids and adults. We can also see competition in tabletop mode and on a TV between four different players. Ghost data can be recorded and shared online so the mind games can continue even if the players aren’t in the same room.

This is the second time Nintendo has released a follow up to a ‘Touch Generation’ DS game in recent memory with Clubhouse Games receiving a follow up last year.

Nintendo’s official press release states “Challenge yourself with brain-teasing activities in Solo mode, take on random players online in Ghost Clash, or go “brain vs. brain” with up to four players in Party Mode. In this mode, you’ll try to earn the highest points by quickly completing activities. With the ability for each player to set their own difficulty level, brainy champs of all ages and skill levels can play together and test their mental mettle.”

Additionally, Nintendo’s storefront page reveals online leaderboards and unlockable outfits as well as options for your in-game avatar.
