Binding of Isaac Expansion Dropping in May, Price Announced With More to Come

A mysterious post appeared on Twitter early this morning giving just a few details on the upcoming expansion to The Binding of Isaac titled Wrath of the Lamb. We haven’t heard much about the game since Edmund McMillen answered some questions on formspring at the beginning of (and throughout) the year, but we finally have two important details set in stone: the expansion will release sometime in May and it will only cost you a pittance of $3.

The Binding of Isaac is without a doubt one of my favorite games from last year and to say that I’m excited for the expansion which adds 50% more content would be underselling it quite a bit. It was named our indie game of the year for 2011 along with a few other spotlight awards, so if you haven’t checked out the original please do so and for the rest of us keep your eyes peeled for more information soon.
