Irrational Games has released the launch trailer for BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea – Episode Two.
The DLC is not only the last installment in the BioShock series but the last release by the studio, who announced in February that the it would be closing it doors.
The preview shows game-play and story picking up from where episode one left off. Players will navigate the world from the perspective of former NPC, Elizabeth Noir as she continues her mission to save a missing child, Sally, from her kidnappers.
This marks the first time a BioShock game will have a female protagonist.
Irrational Games has been billing it as a return to the original BioShock in it’s mechanics and touting its design in the Unreal Engine 3.
BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea – Episode Two will also feature the new 1998 mode, requiring gamers to complete the story in completely non-lethally.
