BioShock Infinite Writer Explains Exploration, Combat and Emotional Investment

BioShock Infinite is only three months away, and the information is trickling down to please the starving fans wanting for more. The Official Playstation Blog published a video interview with Writer Drew Holmes as he explains his take on the game, from the setting to combat, and the mechanics that use Elizabeth.

He stresses a lot on the importance of Elizabeth as a game mechanic in herself, as she will collaborate a lot with the player, and on the emotional investment that her character will generate. Too bad this didn’t earn her a spot on the front of the box art, I guess.

Little jabs aside (it’s almost Christmas and everyone’s nicer. I feel the need to compensate), you can enjoy the interview below.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
