Though it is called the San Diego COMIC Convention, the event has become more and more important for the television, film, and video game mediums with each passing year. Mass Effect 3 developer, BioWare, will be at the conference in more than one form; as they have scheduled panels and plan on setting up a booth on the show floor.

In addition to their booth – which will feature demos of Mass Effect 3’s upcoming multiplayer DLC – BioWare will also be hosting a Mass Effect-centric panel which they are dubbing, “Mass Effect: Past, Present, and Future.” The developer has posted the following time, location, and description of the panel:

Saturday 5:00pm – 6:00pm
Room: 25ABC
Mass Effect: Past, Present and Future – Join developers from Mass Effect for an exciting look at the evolution of the Mass Effect franchise. Mike Gamble (Producer), Corey Gaspur (Senior Combat Designer), Parrish Ley (Lead Cinematic Animator), Sylvia Feketekuty (Writer), Chris Helper (Writer), Jessica Merizan (Community Manager) and“Evil” Chris Priestly (Community Specialist) will discuss the history of the series, beloved characters, multiplayer gaming and hints at upcoming DLC.

There will also be a panel held for all Dragon Age and Mass Effect content within the Dark Horse universe as well. A full listing of times and locations for all of BioWare’s events and panels is available on their blog.
