The latest story-based downloadable content for Mass Effect 3, entitled Citadel, marked the end of an era. The end of the Shepard arc and the end of this chapter in the Mass Effect lore.

One of the most consistent aspects of the Mass Effect trilogy has been the quality of the scores of each game and expansion. Continuing a trend that was utilized after the releases of both Leviathan and Omega, BioWare has made the original score for Citadel available for download for free. All the player needs is an Origin account and Mass Effect 3 linked to said account.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel released on March 5th, 2013 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. It has been speculated that the release of this final DLC will mark the beginning of a shift of attention towards the mostly-confirmed Mass Effect 4.
