Interview: David Silverman of Bioware Talks About the Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer

on October 27, 2011 12:00 PM

A few days ago, Joel had a chance to sit down and get his greedy hands on the multiplayer portion of Mass Effect 3 (You can envy him while reading his full preview), but even more importantly he interviewed David Silverman, BioWare’s Director of marketing, asking him to share some juicy details on the ins and outs of ┬áthe game’s online deviation.

David discusses the reasons why BioWare decided to go the multiplayer route, how the Galaxy at War mode will interact with the single player campaign and some of the options that players will be able to enjoy.

You can watch the full interview past the cut, while I decide what race and class I’ll play on March the 6th. Wait…March the 9th. I hate living in Europe…

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
