Today Arc System Works released a large batch of new screenshots of Birthdays: The Beginning, that will be released in Japan on January 19th, and that NIS America will localize on March 7th in North America and March 10th in Europe for PS4 and Steam.

Among other things, we get to check out the "Dinosaur Challenge" that will prompt players to give birth to an Eoraptor. In order to achieve the objective, it'll be necessary to get the right conditions like air temperature and more. Players will have to first obtain an Ichtiostega, which is a prerequisite to the Dimetrodon. Then raising the temperature a little will possibly cause the Eoraptor to appear.

We also get to see another game mode in the form of the "Free Mode," that will let players build up their little world however they like, also choosing between different sizes. It'll be possible to create landmasses of any shapes, populating them with all sorts of animals and dinosaurs.

Birthdays: The Beginning is being developed by Yasuhiro Wada, who is well known as the creator of the Harvest Moonseries. If you want to read more, you can check out our recent interview, in which Wada-san explained his goals for the upcoming game.
