Black Clover chapter 328 will be officially out in a few days, but the spoilers are out. And based on the spoilers, the new chapter will give us some great moments.

Undoubtedly, Lucifero is the strongest villain Asta and his teammates have ever faced. Despite getting a good bash from the Devil King, our heroes still stand against him. The new chapter is going to be an emotional one and, at the same time, quite satisfying. Asta continues to fight Lucifero, and the memories of Licita and Leibe are shown. The two are sitting together, and Lecita tells Leibe that she has a child just like him. Licita is talking about Asta here.

Lecita continues saying that she is happy that her child was born healthy. But to keep the child alive, she had to send him away. Licita has the power to extract the mana and life force of anyone who comes near her. That's the reason why she abandons him. But she says that even if she cannot be by his side or hold him in her arms, she will always love him.

Lucifero hits Asta, but it doesn't cause much damage to him. Soon Lucifero realizes that Asta is Licita's son. he says, "You, that woman who interfered with me, you are her…." Lucifero tries to attack Asta again, but Asta gets an apparent hit this time, and he slashes the devil king in two halves. The Devil Union mode is finally over. While Lucifero's body is lying on the floor, Asta and Leibe are standing and say that "We will live, and we will be happy."

Interestingly, the panel does show Lucifero being cut in half, but the attack didn't cut his heart. So there are quite some chances that Lucifero is still not defeated. If this had been an end to this fight, there's no reason why Lucifero's heart was not shown to be cut in half as well. So it's possible that Lucifero will return again somehow. But these are just our presumptions; what will actually happen can only be unveiled in the future chapters of Black Clover.
