Today Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the western release date of its upcoming anime-inspired game Black Clover: Quartet Knights.

The game will launch in the west on September 14th for PS4 and PC, which is just one day after the Japanese release (apparently, this has become a welcome pattern for Bandai Namco). We also get more details about the story mode, which will involve captain Yami Sukehiro suddenly going back to be a teenager while losing his memory, possibly connected to a woman named Karna.

Alongside the announcement, we got a full trailer featuring the story plus a few glimpses of gameplay, which will be centered around third-person shooter mechanics for magical battles, in a rather interesting mix that hasn’t been done all that much.

You can check that out below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a recent trailer showing Yuno, another character trailer featuring the protagonist Asta, a batch of recent 4K screenshotsthe first full trailer, and the initial teaser.
