Black Desert Online players have been waiting eagerly for the implementation of the Awakening system on the western servers, bringing a second set of weapons for most classes.

While we don’t yet know when the system will be implemented, now we know when Kakao games will showcase it, and it’ll be at Gamescom, that will open its gates to the public on August 18th.

The game will have an enormous 450 square meters booth in the the Entertainment Area, Hall 10.1 60A-B, with 82 demo stations that will allow players to compete for prizes.

“Daring players can compete for fantastic prizes in fierce 5 vs 5 PvP matches that will be held on the main stage. Non-competitive players should not worry as there are a wide range of goodies in stock for them as well and they can play the new Black Desert Online content on one of the 82 available high-end PC’s. Furthermore, fans will be pleased to know that there are photo opportunities with top class Black Desert cosplayers.”

Below you can see the booth. It’ll be certainly interesting to see which awakenings will be shocased, considering that Kunoichi, Wizard and Witch aren’t available in Korea yet, and Wizard and Witch haven’t ever been showcased yet outside of concept artwork.
