Black Desert Online’s Upcoming Baby Elephant Mount is Adorable

Black Desert Online was launched in the west just a couple of days ago, so it has quite a ways to go to catch up to the original Korean version of the game. On the other hand, players can look at what gets released in Korea, and know what they can look forward to in the months to come.

Yesterday, the Korean version of the game received an update that included a new mount, a baby elephant, and it’s absolutely adorable. You can check it out below, courtesy of YouTube user nkseok.

Baby elephants are normally captured in the desert of the Valencia expansion area (that isn’t yet available in North America and Europe), and until now they were used exclusively by guilds to grow into full-fledged battle elephants.

With the new update, single players can capture the baby elephants and tame them on their own to use as mounts, even if they won’t grow into battle elephants when used this way. They are quite evidently slower than horses, but they come with better inventory capacity.
