Last month, Treyarch surprised fans by adding a brand new Blackout map to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4: Alcatraz. While the map stayed in the game for an entire month, out of nowhere, the map was suddenly removed last week with no explanation whatsoever for its removal. While many fans (including me) voiced their displeasure with the decision to remove it, it seems like the decision was only temporary, as developer Treyarch confirmed that the Blackout map will be returning tomorrow.

While the news was announced a few days ago, the news made its way onto Treyarch's official docket for tomorrow's update earlier today. The best part is that, unlike all the new content for the game, the return of the map will go live on all platforms at the same time. This means that no matter what you're playing on, you'll be able to jump into the CQB map at the same time.

While patch notes for the update have yet to go live, the developer also confirmed that the Xbox One and Windows PC of the game will be getting all the new content that hit PS4 last week, including the new Specialist Spectre and the new "Wetworks" Blackout map update.

If you've forgotten how the Alcatraz map looks, plays, and operates, DualShockers has you covered. You can click here to check out over 10 minutes of gameplay from the map.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
