If you were thinking about prestiging in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 but you weren't sure if you'd be able to put in the time necessary to level up again, then now might be the perfect chance do so. Treyarch has announced that a double XP and double Merit weekend has started in the first-person shooter and it's sure to make you level up fast.

Of course, one thing to point out is the fact that this weekend, explicitly, only pertains to XP in both Multiplayer and Blackout. This means that Zombies won't have double XP, you won't be able to get extra weapon XP, and, most importantly, you won't be able to Tier up faster. Interestingly, it is worth noting that the double XP weekend also affects the game's relatively new MKII guns, which gives 25% XP boosts when in use. During this weekend, that boost will be raised to 50%.

Of course, just previous double XP weekends, the bonus will be live until Monday, April 1, 2019, at 1:00 PM EST (10:00 AM PST) so you're going to want to start as soon as possible if you want to take advantage of it.

In other Black Ops 4 news, yesterday it was revealed that Activision partnered with Twitch to bring an exclusive content bundle to Twitch Prime users. A few days earlier, update 1.16 was released which added a brand new Zombies map.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
