While this was not really a surprise since we knew it was coming in the near future, it's nice to hear that it's coming tomorrow. Today, developer Treyarch and publisher Activision confirmed that the highly popular mode Infected will be making its way into Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 during an update that's set to go live tomorrow.

For those that don't know, in Infected, one player in the lobby becomes a zombie. Their goal is to kill the normal players, which then turn them into Infected players. The normal player's objectives are simple: don't get infected. If you can do that, you win. If not then the original infected player wins. It's a little complicated, however, it's been a Call of Duty staple for years now in some way, shape, or form so it's nice to see it finally return.

Given the fact that this is new content, the mode is hitting PlayStation 4 players first, with Xbox One and PC players getting their hands on it during next week's update on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

Of course, this probably won't be the only thing going live when the update hits tomorrow. There'll more than likely be bug fixes, weapon tuning, and more. That being said, none of that information has been released yet, so we don't have any clue what'll be changed. You can be sure we'll cover it once the update is out, however.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
