The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's next update was no surprise; we've known about it, essentially, since the start of the current season, Operation Grand Heist. What we don't know, however, is what content will be coming in the new update, but that's not stopping Treyarch from teasing it. Today, the developer released patch notes for what is likely Black Ops 4's final update before the next season and in the notes, the developer announced the first new game mode that'll be coming when the season starts.

Next Tuesday, Prop Hunt will finally be coming to the game. The mode has been a fan-favorite ever since it was officially added in Modern Warfare Remastered back in 2017. For those that don't know, Prop Hunt pits a team of normal soldiers against a team of props based on objects scattered around the map. Think about a more intense and complex hide and seek match. The mode was originally supposed to launch during Operation Grand Heist, however, it never made it into the game, so it's cool to see that we are finally getting it.

Of course, being patch notes for a new update, a few new features were added to the game. For Infected, Treyarch readded all the maps that were previously removed for out of map exploits a few weeks back. These include Arsenal (and its weather variant Arsenal Sandstorm) Frequency, Hacienda, and Payload.

Battery's equipment, the Cluster Grenade, also got tweaked. It now has a longer cooldown time and lower damage.

Of course, these aren't the only features added to the game. If you want to check out the full patch notes, you can do so by clicking here.
