The day is finally here. At long last, the next major update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Operation Grand Heist, is finally available, at least on PlayStation 4. With its addition comes the return of Outrider, a fan-favorite Specialist from Black Ops 3. Up until this point, we didn't know any much details about the bow and arrow wielding specialist, but thanks to the game's patch notes and an infographic released by Treyarch, that's all changed.Just like her Black Ops 3 counterpart (which canonically takes place after the events of Black Ops 4), Outrider has her signature bow and arrow called Sparrow, which contains 10 explosive rounds. While the initial damage of each arrow is low, the explosive will always finish the enemy off, at least in Multiplayer (it'll be interesting to see how the weapon performs in Blackout). In addition, while the Black Ops 3 version of the character had the ability to use Vision Pulse, this one does not (the Specialist Recon has that ability in Black Ops 4). This means that she has a new piece of equipment called Hawk, which essentially acts like a player-controlled UAV. For a short period of time, players can fly Hawk around the map, locating enemies and tagging them in the process.Outrider is available for use in both Multiplayer and Blackout when you reach Tier 1 in the new Contraband stream.Of course, the game also received a ton of other changes, fixes, and additions with this new update, including the addition of a new Blackout map update, weapon tuning, and Zombies modes. You can check out the full list of changes in Treyarch's patch notes, which can be found here.Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
