Finally, after we got a trailer for the event and the official update went live, Treyarch has finally released the patch notes for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Shamrock and Awe update, which adds a ton of new content completely free of charge to the first-person shooter.

As far as I can tell, the update doesn't really add anything that we weren't already expecting. The standard Multiplayer got a new mode in the form of Stockpile, which in and of itself is a remake of Black Ops 3's Fracture mode, as well as a new weather map variant Contraband Hurricane. Of course, some other small changes were made, including how certain Scorestreaks function and how Prestige Mode functions, but all in all they are pretty small.

In addition, Blackout also received it's Spring Update, which sees some news trees and flowers added for the first time since last fall. Interestingly enough, outside of the map lies a downed airplane, which looks exactly like the one featured in Mob of the Dead. Of course, this is teasing the addition of the famous Zombies map into the mode, so look for that in the water in the northwest corner of the map.

Finally, Zombies mode also received some changes, including a new Gauntlet challenge on Blood of the Dead and the addition of Host Migration (FINALLY). It feels like Zombies once again got the short end of the stick when it comes to content, but it's still nice to see some content arrive.
