I got to tell you, it was really nice to see this video pop up in my YouTube feed. After being originally leaked (and subsequently confirmed by the developer's senior game designer), today, Treyarch released a brand new "The Replacer" trailer to celebrate the release of Black Ops 4's new Operation Grand Heist update.

The trailer itself features Peter Stormare's character The Replacer, explaining what he's been doing the past couple years, before revealing that, in fact, he's been behind multiple events around the world, including the United States government shutdown, Brexit, the lack of an Oscars host, and so much more. It's an absolutely hilarious trailer and worth the watch, even if you hate Call of Duty.

For those that don't know, The Replacer made his first appearance in ads for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's content season in 2013, before making a short return for Black Ops 3's first DLC. Players haven't seen him since then, so it's nice to see the return of the hilarious character. Hopefully, he'll stick around for the rest of Black Ops 4's content season.

Of course, you can check out the full trailer at the end of the article.

Last Tuesday, Treyarch released a brand new, massive update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which added new maps, modes, characters, and weapons, mostly free of charge, with even more to come later this Spring.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
