New Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Winter-Themed Contraband Items Added
Treyarch has added winter-themed items to the Contraband system in Black Ops 4, days after it added a ton of free and paid content.
Treyarch has been a bit busy this week. A few days ago, it dropped their first major DLC release for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, while at the same time giving out a ton of free content for all players. Now, the developer is making even more content available to players as earlier today the game received another drop of content, and it’s smaller in size than previous drops, it’s all winter-themed.
To access this new content, all you have to do is level up in the Contraband Tier system. Just like the Halloween-themed content that dropped during that holiday, there’s only a limited amount of winter items, and you’ll stop receiving them once you hit Tier 29. Until then, however, you can receive facepaints, gestures, and stickers.
In addition, Treyarch has also added a new “Triple-Play” DLC to the Black Market, which nets you a Saug-9mm weapon variant, a Bell melee weapon (both of which can’t be purchased or earned anywhere else), and 10 tier skips in the Contraband system for $20.
Finally, snowballs have been added to Blackout, the game’s battle royale mode. They can be found literally all over the map and thrown at enemies. It’s unknown how much damage they do to players, however, they are a one-hit kill on zombies, so watch out.
