Yesterday, Australia-based developer Pine Fire Studios released some new gameplay footage of its multiplayer ninja game Kieru.

The new footage -- which is a brief 15 seconds long -- shows off more of its stylistic combat and the resulting blood. You can check it out for yourself below:

Kieru, as mentioned above, is a multiplayer ninja game where players use the environment to hide in plain sight. How it works is in a completely black and white environment players hide in either the light or the shadows as they themselves are also white or black. The only color in the game is the red blood.

Games are fought in first person deathmatch form, where two teams fight to eliminate each other. According to the developer, stealth, deception and sudden, surprise aggression will win the day.

The game is said to contain multiple maps and modes -- how many and of what variety -- is currently unclear.

Kieru is in development for the PC and is slated to release sometime in 2017. Below, you can view a set of screenshots and the game's latest trailer:
