Nintendo UK is releasing the black Wii console on November 6th, as part of a limited edition bundle which will include a matching Wii Remote, Nunchuk, and MotionPlus stuff – and both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. The bundle will be available everywhere else in Europe on November 20th. That’s not all, though. Along with the black bundle (Hm. Just noticed how wrong that sentence sounds), Nintendo is also releasing the black Classic Controller Pro (which looks far more comfortable than that cramp-inducing crap they had before). They have yet to mention a price for any of the aforementioned items.
For you North Americans wondering when you’ll get your black Wii to match your Xbox 360 Elite, your PS3, and your slick black LCD/Plasma TV, you can start biting your nails and just sit right there and wait. Nintendo of American has yet to announce any plans to release any of these items here in the states. Here’s the kicker, folks: They have announced that there are no plans for the black console’s release in the North American region. Of course you’re pissed off and saying how unfair it is. I am too… Damn you Nintendo!
