Blackpowder Games, Composed of F.E.A.R. Developers, Reveals Betrayer

Blackpowder Games, a team composed of F.E.A.R. and No One Lives Forever developers, has announced their newest project Betrayer.

Betrayer is set in a Virgina colony in 1604. You come expecting to help out the colony, but are greeted by an abandoned colony filled with ghosts. The first thing players will notice is the lack of color as the lands has been “drained of color and life”. The weaponry sounds pretty awesome. Muskets, crossbows, and axes? Yes, please.

The game hits PC on Steam Early Access sometime this August. For now, enjoy the screeenshots, concept art, and trailer below.
