Blade & Soul Finally Released in the West: Gets Launch Trailer and Screenshots

Blade & Soul fans have waited for a long time to be able to play the game on official western servers. It launched in Korea three and a half year ago, and NCSoft surely took its sweet time in bringing it over. Yet, it’s finally here, and the servers are now accessible to everyone.

Incidentally, the official website is suffering from heavy traffic right now, but you can still download the client from here. It’s free to play (with optional premium subscription), so no prior purchase is necessary.

To celebrate, NCSoft sent in a few official screenshots, and a launch trailer, that you can see below.

Having played quite a lot in beta and in early access, I can definitely say that it’s worth a try. Especially the story is particularly robust, with some of the best cutscenes in the MMORPG market.

Of course, a full review will come soon enough.
