With the conclusion of the 2021-22 CS: GO Pro Circuit now on the horizon, teams from across different regions will go all out to secure their spot in the Blast Premier: World Final, one of the biggest tournaments of the season. However, their journey has not even started yet. Teams still have to go through the fall groups and the playoffs to make their way to Abu Dhabi, where the World Final will take place.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 is where everything will start for those who want to demonstrate themselves as the best team in the world with their acclaimed line-up. The tournament will host a total of twelve teams that have been successful throughout the season. Here are all the details fans need to know about the forthcoming international circuit.

Format

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 will kick off on August 18th with the group stage, where the twelve teams will duke it out against each other in a three double-elimination (GSL) format. Teams will be divided into three groups with four each, and all matches in the group stage will be bo1. All teams will advance to the play-in stage, starting their next run according to where they finish the groups.

The play-in stage will have the same format as the groups. The winner from each gauntlet will qualify for the Fall Finals 2022, while the second and third teams will proceed to the last chance stage. All matches will be bo3, and the fourth team from each gauntlet will secure their spot in the Fall Showdown.

The teams that come out victorious in the last chance stage will qualify for the Fall Finals 2022, where they will fight for a golden ticket to World Finals. As we can understand from its complicated format, BLAST Premier Fall Groups determines which teams will attend the Fall Finals, which will take place in Copenhagen in November.
