Inti Creates revealed that their 2D action game Blaster Master Zero has surpasses 110,000 downloads on Switch and 3DS’s respective eShop.

To celebrate the milestone, the developer has pushed a new free update that unlocks Boss Blaster Mode for players to battle through waves of bosses from the campaign.

In August, Blaster Master Zero reaches the 100k milestone, so it seems like players are still purchasing the game at a steady rate 7 months after its release.

Since its release, Inti creats has been releasing new DLC characters for players to play through the game, the most recent being Shovel Knight.

Blaster Master Zero is a reboot of the classic Blaster Master series  the game features new game mechanics, updated UI, and graphics, yet the game still retains that classic retro gameplay that players remember. Additionally, by purchasing the DLC characters, players can play through the campaign in different ways, using new skills.
