Okay, before the uninformed lay an egg, Continuum Shift 2 is the name given to the arcade version of the BlazBlue: Continuum Shift after the additional characters, (all of which except one are already available on console versions as DLC) and some significant balance changes were added. So basically, the Japanese PSP will be getting the consummate version of BlazBlue with all the DLC characters, songs and added content. A patch containing the balance changes is rumored to be in the works for consoles.

Like the original BlazBlue for PSP, BBCS2 will contain content not in the console counterpart.  This time around, instead of Legion Mode (which has since appeared in BBCS on consoles) PSP gamers will get Abyss mode. Few details are available on it but it is suspected to have some sort of RPG component. Perhaps a spin on the side-scrolling, beat'em up style Boost Mode from Guilty Gear: Isuka? Either way, it sounds exciting.

The game will also feature a Network Mode, which I’m willing to bet is peer to peer. How awesome would it be if it had Wi-Fi though? The network mode will allow four player rooms, where two people will act as spectators while they await their turns, similar to the console version. The game will be available in spring, with no American release confirmed.
