Today Arc System Works released a new trailer of its brand new crossover fighting game BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle.
The trailer introduces three new characters: the first is Jin Kisaragi from BlazBlue Central Fiction, the second is Yosuke Hanamura from Persona 4: Arena, and the third is Linne from French Bread’s Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[st].
Besides those three series, the game also includes characters from Monty Oum’s animated series RWBY, but no character was introduced today from that.
Interestingly, at the end the trailer promises “many more exciting news” coming next month in October. We also get a tease with a “You… You can’t be?!” during the last few seconds, seemingly indicating a big surprise among the cast. I don’t have the slightest idea about who that might be, but we’ll probably know in October.
BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is a 2D fighting game, currently in development internally at Arc System Works. It will be released in 2018 for home consoles, but no specific platforms have been announced.
You can check out the brand new trailer below, and if you want to see a bit more, you can also enjoy the original announcement, which also included the first teaser trailer.
