BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle 2.0 New Gameplay Trailer Reveals Latest Fighters, Includes Elizabeth and Adachi

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle 2.0 "Ver. 2.0 Expansion Pack" gets a new gameplay trailer, showcasing the last five of the latest DLC fighters.

Back in August, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle 2.0 “Ver. 2.0 Expansion Pack” was announced and the trailer dropped then revealed the first four fighters out of nine in total that would make their debut. Arc System Works finally released a second trailer for the expansion pack, featuring the last five combatants and their movesets:

The five fighters revealed today are the following:

This Version 2.0 also features a brand new scenario, new character interactions, and colors. And for players who won’t be purchasing the DLC pack, the “Ver. 2.0 patch” will be released as a free balance adjustment for all users of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, so you can still play against 2.0 characters without the Ver. 2.0 Expansion Pack.

The last update BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle received was in May and that one included balance adjustments, which were made to the arcade version as well, synchronizing the two versions. The fighter was also included in this year’s Evo along with eight other titles.

Other notable characters released for the title in post launch DLC include Heart Aino from Arcana Heart, Seth from Under Night In-Birth, Teddie from Persona 4 Arena, and Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4 Arena.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is a crossover between some of Arc System Works’ most iconic fighting games. Some additional outsider series have been included like Rooster Teeth’s RWBY and Examu’s Arcana Hearts. The “Ver. 2.0 Expansion Pack” will be released on November 21st for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
