Marvel Japan has teased an upcoming collaboration between the popular anime Bleach and the original Disney+ series Loki.

Details are very vague regarding the crossover event, but fans of both shows are already excited to find out what the mysterious ‘villain project’ could be.

Loki is currently Marvel’s hot topic for the time being, as the Disney+ series prepares to air its fifth episode next week.

Bleach x Loki Collaboration Details

Marvel Japan posted an intriguing image of Bleach’s Sōsuke Aizen and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki side-by-side on its official Twitter account.

The image was reportedly designed by Bleach creator Tite Kubo and was simply tagged as ‘villain project’, with no other details accompanying the image. 

The post was made on Wednesday to celebrate Loki Day, and Marvel Japan commented that next Wednesday would be Loki’s “opportunity to become a colleague of…?”

Fans have come to the conclusion that the crossover will focus around the ‘Men of Betrayals’ theme, as Loki is known as the God of Betrayal and Aizen is known as the Grim Reaper of Betrayal.

Who is Bleach’s Sōsuke Aizen?

The antagonist Sōsuke Aizen from Kubo’s manga is captain of the 5th Division in the Soul Society’s Gotei 13. 

Aizen is known for turning against the Soul Society, along with his followers Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tōsen. Aizen declared war against the Society with an army of Arrancar -  Hollows that have obtained Shinigami powers by removing their masks.

The antagonist is known for using politeness and intellect to fool his comrades, when in fact the character is highly manipulative and a danger to most.
