Bleach, one of the most popular anime series of all time, is finally coming back with new episodes. The latest season will cover the events of Thousand-Year Blood War, which is the last story arc of Tite Kubo's legendary manga series. Studio Pierrot released the first trailer for TYBW last year in December, and it looked spectacular. Well, after almost a year-long wait, we are finally close to seeing Ichigo Kurosaki back on our screens.
Studio Pierrot confirmed that Bleach TYBW would feature a Four-cour run; however, the anime series will take a break after each finishing each cour. The first cour will feature around 13 episodes, with the premiere episode coming out in a few hours.
What Time Does Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Come Out?
Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Arc will premiere with the release of Episode 1, titled "The Blood Warfare," on Monday, October 10th, 2022, at 8:30 AM (Pacific Timing). Fans in the U.S. can stream the latest episodes of Bleach exclusively on Hulu, whereas fans from other parts of the world can watch the TYBW arc on Disney Plus. Both streaming platforms will simulcast the new episode soon after its release in Japan, but the release time will vary depending on your region. Previously, all episodes of Bleach were available to stream on Crunchyroll and Netflix (in some regions). However, after Disney Plus acquired the rights for Thousand Year Blood War, all the previous episodes of Bleach also moved over to Disney Plus and Hulu.
Bleach TYBW Episode Count
Studio Pierrot officially confirmed on its website that Bleach TYBW would consist of a total of 52 episodes. The entire season will be divided into four cours. Each cour usually features around 12-13 episodes, thus lasting for three months.
The anime will follow a weekly release schedule for around three months and will go on a hiatus as soon as it finishes its first cour. Studio Pierrot will follow this pattern after completing each part, so the entire season will possibly finish by the end of 2023 or maybe in the first half of 2024.
