In Blizzard's latest development blog, two new classic characters have been announced as additions to Heroes of the Storm, those new additions being Warcraft's Gul'dan and Diablo's Auriel.

There's no word yet as to when these heroes will be implemented, however Blizzard have revealed there will be two skins available for each new hero as well as skins for existing heroes Johanna, Arthas and Li-Ming. There will also be the addition of several new mounts to the game.

Skins:

  • Balespider Gul'dan
  • Master Gul'dan
  • Demonic Auriel
  • Master Auriel
  • Striker Li-Ming
  • Spellbreaker Johnanna
  • Mystic Kingdoms Arthas

Mounts:

  • Elemental Lizard
  • Epic Elemental Lizard
  • Crimson Hare
  • Obsidian Cyber Wolf
  • Demonic Hellsteed

The most recent heroes to be added to the game include Overwatch's Tracer and Warcraft's Chromie. Given Blizzard's regular hero releases, fans can expect updates on their development soon.

There is no official word yet on a release for these new character additions, however Blizzard have released a video showing the future content in action.
