Blizzard Entertainment has today announced its plans for this year's edition of BlizzCon, the annual convention dedicated to all things Blizzard.

BlizzCon 2019 is slated to take place this year on November 1 and 2nd. Like last year, the show will again be taking place from Anaheim, California at the Anaheim Convention Center. BlizzCon 2019 will include the usual slate of panels featuring developers, esports tournaments, and other various fan events. The show will also be expanded this year to accommodate more space in the convention hall.

Last year's BlizzCon showing disappointed some due to the fact that no major game announcements were made at the convention's opening ceremony. While rumors of a Diablo 4 reveal were running rampant ahead of the show, Blizzard instead ended up revealing Diablo Immortal, a new mobile version of the classic loot game, to disappointment from many. Diablo 4 was later reported to have been pulled from being revealed at BlizzCon 2018 at the last minute.

With this all in mind, you'd imagine that Blizzard will have much more to bring with them to BlizzCon 2019. Blizzard president J. Allen Brack said that the company will be "sharing some of our latest developments" at BlizzCon this year, so maybe we'll finally get that Diablo 4 reveal come November. Still, if last year's show taught us anything, it's that you shouldn't let your expectations carry you away before anything proper has been unveiled.

If you're looking to attend BlizzCon 2019 for yourself this year, tickets are set to go live in two waves, the first of which will occur on Saturday, May 4. The second period of availability for tickets will then take place on Wednesday, May 8. Three tiers of BlizzCon 2019 tickets will be available coming in at $229, $550, and $750 respectively with the higher priced tickets netting you more benefits at the convention. You can read up about these tickets more over on Blizzard's website.
