If you’re an old-school tabletop gamer like me, chances are that you at least heard about Blood Bowl, the miniature-based fantasy football set in a spin-off version of the Warhammer universe. Three years ago Cyanide released its licensed video game and now the French development studio is ready to bring forth its ultimate incarnation: Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition.

The Chaos Edition will be released this september on PC (no word has been spoken about any other platform, despite the fact that the original game was also on Xbox 360, DS and PSP) and will include quite a few new goodies.

Three new playable teams will march on the bloody fields of the Old World: the Chaos Dwarves, the Daemons of Khorne and the Outcasts of the Underworld will bring the total of available races to 23. A new statdium set in the jungles of Lustria will also be included.

The new World Championship mode will expand the single player gameplay allowing coaches to bring their teams from national qualifying games to continental cups to the final tournament. You can check out the official logo and the first three screenshots below.
