Last month, Titan Comics — the company behind comic book tie-ins for games such as Wolfenstein: The New Colossus and The Evil Within 2 — announced they would be bringing the critically lauded PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne to the comic book realm with Bloodborne: The Death of Sleep. Today, we get a first look at a few panels from the first issue as well as four covers you'll be able to collect.

Written by Ales Kot and illustrated by Piotr Kowalski, Bloodborne: The Death of Sleep will tell a brand new story following an unnamed Hunter as they explore the grim city of Yharnam. It is still unknown whether the series will take place before, during, or after the game's timeline.

Writer Ales Kot has worked with several publications such as Marvel, DC, and most recently Image Comics writing for the comic Generation Gone. Artist Piotr Kowalski is no stranger to illustrating for comic book tie-ins like Wolfenstein and Dark Souls: Legends of the Flame. He has also worked for multiple publications such as Marvel and Image Comics.

Bloodborne: The Death of Sleep will make its way to a comic book store near you in February 2018. If you can't wait to look at the dreadful city of Yharnam and the creatures that inhabit it, UDON Entertainment's Bloodborne Official Artworks should suffice as it contains tons of character and environment art from the game.
