Last month, Inti Creates announced and released Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, an 8-bit spinoff for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, which is currently in development. Two weeks after the game's release, developer Inti Creates took to Twitter to reveal that Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon has sold 100,000 copies. The tweet, which you can check out below, also features a new piece of Miriam artwork by Yuji Natsume, the game's lead artist:

In a follow-up tweet, we see how Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon did on individual platforms and regions . The Nintendo Switch version has done the best, making up 56% of copies sold. It is followed up by PC at 19% and PS4 at 17%. The PS Vita and 3DS versions of the game each make up 4% of sales. The game sold 64% of its copies in North America, followed by 23% in Japan and 13% in Europe and Australia.

Bloodstained Curse of the Moon follows the journey of Zangetsu as he tries to beat a demon in a dangerous castle. The game is clearly inspired by the NES Castlevania titles, but does attempt to build upon them with more dynamic environments and an ally system. Inti Creates has previously gone into detail about those new aspects of gameplay.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is currently available on 3DS, PC, PS4, PS Vita, and Nintendo Switch, and releases later today on Xbox One.
