Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Delayed to Early 2018

Bad news to Kickstarter backers, Koji Igarashi’s has announced that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be getting pushed back until the first half of 2018. Announced via a backer update, IGA explained that he did not believe the game would meet his desired quality at the current rate of production. And while IGA won’t commit on even the Early 2018 timeframe, he mentioned he is adding a new development team to help work on the project.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was originally slated for March 2017 before the delay, launching on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, and Xbox One. Check out IGA’s emphatic apology and explanation in his YouTube video, below:
