E3 2017 isn't even here yet, but many developers and publishers are already scrambling to release their assets not to be caught in the maelstrom.

Following the release of a new trailer earlier today, Koji Igarashi's ArtPlay published a batrch of new screenshots, giving another perspective on the game, and showing a new boss and new enemies for protagonist Miriam.

The game was funded on Kickstarter in 2015, and has been in development since, having raised a whopping $5,545,991 in pledges from 64,867 backers, multiplying the original $500,000 goal by eleven.

Considering Koji Igarashi's pedigree as the co-creator of the Castlevania series, Bloodstained is considred a spiritual successor now that Konami seems to have pretty much abandoned it, at least in its classic form.

You can check them all out below, and if you want to see more, you can also enjoy a video from yesterday, featuring a chat with the technical director of co-developer DICOthe reveal of Zangetsu's 3D model from Bitsummit in Kyotoa set of characters that were revealed fairly recently, and another gameplay video from January.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS Vita and Switch. The Wii U version has been recently canceled in favor of the new Nintendo console.
