Bohemia Interactive, known for titles DayZ and the Arma series have announced their plans and official release date for their upcoming tactical first person shooter Argo. Alongside the announcement of the game and its official release date, Bohemia Interactive have also released three new trailers for the game, which can be seen below; each trailer showcasing a different competitive game mode from Argo.

Argo will be free-to-play when it officially launches on PC via Steam on June 22, 2017. At the time of launch there will be one location (consisting of 3 combat zones; 1 combat zone per game mode). The three game competitive game modes will include; Raid, Link and Clash. All of these game modes will be 5v5 and the combat zones for each location will rotate on a regular basis. In addition to the competitive modes being offered, a cooperative sandbox game mode with randomized objectives will also be included at launch.

At the end of each match, players will gain experience based on their in game performance allowing them to rank up and unlock new weapons, attachments, and gear. These unlockables will allow players to create their own custom loadouts to take into battle.

Bohemia Interactive has stated that the game will not feature any micro-transactions or require any form of payment to play the game. They will however offer players a chance to purchase an "Argo Supporter’s Pack" which will help the development studio with funding for the game. The Argo Supporter’s Pack will include; 14 exclusive animations for the MVP screen at the end of each match, a bundle of 22 unique apparel items, the ability to use vehicles in the 3D Scenario Editor, access to premium Argo Supporter servers, and the names of supporters will be highlighted on the leaderboards. The Argo Supporter’s Pack will go on sale for $10 when the game launches on Steam.

Argo is scheduled to release on June 22, 2017 on PC via Steam as a free-to-play title.
