A prominent member of both Microsoft and current Halo developer 343 industries will soon be honored for their work over the span of their career in early 2019.

As announced today, Bonnie Ross, the Corporate Vice President of Microsoft and Head of 343 Industries, will be inducted next year into the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame (AIAS). Ross will be the 23rd member of the AIAS Hall of Fame and joins past recipients such as Bethesda's Todd Howard, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima, and Sam and Dan Houser of Rockstar Games.

Ross' key role at Microsoft the past few years has been to ever-expand the reach of the Halo franchise. To date, the Halo series has collectively made close to $6 billion in sales and has become one of the most prolific gaming franchises of all-time.

Ross will be presented with this honor of entering the Hall of Fame during the 22nd edition of the D.I.C.E Awards, which will take place on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, in Las Vegas. Microsoft's Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, will be the one to induct Ross and present her with the award.
