With the launch of the first open beta session of its mecha battle third-person-shooter Border Break, Sega released a new and extensive gameplay video.

The video clocks nearly nine minutes of footage, showcasing basic features like combat, and moving into more specific ones like laying mines to lead your opponents into a trap or using repair pods to heal up your mates.

We also get to see a nice chunk of customization, and the different pilots available in the open beta.

In case you want to play yourself, you can download the client, and take part in the next beta sessions. While today's is already past, there is one tomorrow (February 4th),  and two on February 17th and February 18th. On all of these dates, the servers will remain open between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM Japan time.

In order to download the client play, you’ll need a Japanese PSN account.  If you don’t know how to create one, you can find out how to, alongside with a few housekeeping tips, in our dedicated guide.

You can check out the video below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy more recent screenshots and the initial announcement from a few weeks ago.
