Borderlands 3 Gives an In-Depth Look at Moze and Her Iron Bear Mech With Latest Gameplay Trailer
Get an extended look at Moze and her Iron Bear in this 10-minute uncut gameplay trailer for Borderlands 3.
Borderlands 3 was announced back at PAX East and since then the team at Gearbox has steadily been trickling out content. At the Xbox E3 briefing, the team put out a new trailer and today they’ve released 10 minutes of in-depth Moze gameplay. There’s a lot to see here. Check it out for yourself below.
Moze is one of the four Vault Hunters you can play as in Borderlands 3. She seems to be the third game’s take on the classic soldier class that Roland and Axton portrayed in past games. That said, while those characters had different turrets you could drop, Moze can jump into her Iron Bear mech. It’s way better.
The mech seems super powerful and fun to control. Her arsenal of abilities looks like they’ll pack a serious punch. Personally, Moze was lower on my list of characters I want to play going into this. However, the trailer makes a case for her being my main.
Outside of Moze, we get a look at a few cool things coming to the game. First is a few different “Crew Challenges”. These challenges look like Borderlands 3‘s version of Badass challenges from Borderlands 2. It also continues to be neat to see how the minimap fills in as you explore areas, making it easy to see what you’ve missed.
In the final battle, we see a loot minion. I don’t remember if this happened in the second game, but it looks like these guys will run away and portal out like the Treasure Goblins from Diablo 3. Either way, I love how their backpacks just explode into guns after you kill them. More of that, please.
Borderlands 3 is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 13. While you wait, make sure to check out the new Borderlands 2 DLC the team released. And keep your eyes locked on DualShockers for all the latest news out of E3.
