After Gearbox Software confirmed last month that it would be attending PAX East 2019 in Boston with "never-before-seen reveals" slated to take place, many assumed that this might finally be the time when the developer would reveal the long-awaited Borderlands 3. Well, in a new tweet shared from Gearbox this afternoon, that seems to be exactly what's going to happen. The tweet in question that Gearbox shared today contained an image of a highway sign standing in what seems to be the middle of a desert. The sign seems to have been spray painted with the date of March 28, which is the date in which Gearbox will be holding its panel at the convention. What all but confirms though that Borderlands 3 will indeed be the topic of conversation is the "Exit 3"  indicator that is seen in the top right corner of the sign. Even though the number 3 is a bit chopped off, you can still easily make out what it is. Clearly, this is meant to be teasing Borderlands 3 -- otherwise, why throw that number in there? Gearbox doesn't seem to be beating around the bush any longer, and there's really no reason to. Everyone has known for quite some time that Borderlands 3 has been in development and it seems come the end of the month, we'll finally get out first look at the highly-anticipated sequel. You can find Gearbox's tweet from today attached below if you want to see the image in question for yourself. If you want to tune into Gearbox's panel at PAX East, it's set to take place at 2:00pm EST on Thursday, March 28.
